Well Ian's convinced the upgrade was worth it already. He was all for going into Wetherspoon's for something to eat and a cup of coffee, but I persuaded him we should at least check what was on offer in the lounge first. So now we're sitting in the BA Club Lounge at Terminal 5 enjoying a complimentary cooked breakfast. The wine list is extensive but at 6am it's too early even for me.
If the rest of the outward journey is anything like this start, it'll be fantastic.
