The hotel is part of the Inkaterra Group of hotels which also own the jungle lodge hotel, it had everything you could possible want in a beautiful setting.
The communal areas are beautiful furnished with dark wood and bright coloured accessories and the rooms just lovely.

We went on two nature walks; one looking at birds and spent hours photographing hummingbirds, the other mainly looking at orchids.
This afternoon we had a wander around the town of Aguas Calientes which was delightful; although touristy it had retained a certain indigenous charm.
Railway bridge over the river.
Amazingly, the railway line runs literally down the middle of the road.
These lads were presumably guides/cooks/whatevers on the Inca Trail where everything has to be carried.
We bumped into Christine and Stuart and had something to eat
This group of musicians got drowned out whenever the train went by.
